Energize Nepal and Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering sign contract on November 2018, for the implementation of “Centre for Electricity Trade Research and Facilitation (CETRF)” in Kathmandu University. CETRF Project is established with an intention to set up center of excellence for cross boarder power trading. This project also facilitates preparatory studies related to electricity power market of Nepal and India, analysis of regional electricity market integration and to develop model for power trading. CETRF is funded by The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) through Energize Nepal Project for three years and is managed by Kathmandu University (KU), Nepal.
